​신은총 (David Shin) 목사

I grew up knowing Jesus Christ as a pastor’s kid; however, I found the joy of sharing the Gospel through several mission trips in South Eastern Asia in college. It drove me to attend Seminary after finishing a bachelor’s degree in business. I graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary in 2016 with a M.Div. and Th.M. degree in Educational Ministry. 

Through the years of experiences as an education pastor from Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, and Pittsburgh, I look forward to blooming all of the hurdles that I have gone through with only God’s grace. I want to be part of the family of Cornerstone Community Church and carry out her vision together Lord willing. I enjoy running, hiking, playing table tennis, playing the piano, reading, and watching Netflix when I have free time.

목회자 자녀로 자라오며 자연스럽게 예수님을 알며 성장했습니다. 학부 재학 당시 경영학을 공부하는 중 동남아시아 선교지들을 다녀오며 하나님의 복음을 전하는 기쁨과 소명을 알게 되었으며, 미시건주에 소재한 칼빈신학교 (Calvin Theological Seminary) 에서 목회학 석사(M.Div.) 및 교육학 석사과정 (Th.M. Specialized in Educational Ministry)을 공부했습니다. 또한 Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Pittsburgh 에서 다양한 교육부서들을 섬기는 경험을 가졌습니다. 

지난 사역의 현장들 가운데 모든 것이 하나님의 은혜였음을 고백하며, 주님의 몸 된 교회인 코너스톤 교회의 가족이 되어 함께 하나님을 기쁘시게 해드리는 사역들을 섬겨나가고자 합니다.
여가 시간이 있을 때는 달리기와 하이킹, 탁구, 피아노, 독서, 그리고 넷플릭스 시청을 좋아합니다.
